Hilary Price and Homes of Hope

Hilary Price wanted children who needed foster care to get the best possible start in life. Her response? Fresh thinking.

The Tauranga woman came up with a new model for at-home foster care and created the Homes Of Hope charity to see her vision become a reality.

Thanks to the support of the World Of Difference programme, Hilary could devote herself to the cause full-time, successfully opening her first Home Of Hope in early 2003. Read on to discover the highs and lows Hilary overcame to achieve her vision.
