Graham Nobbs and ACROSS

Sudan is a country in chaos: civil war, famine, genocide. Hope is a little known commodity in this beleaguered African nation.

But Graham Nobbs has lots of hope. Already he has spent long periods in Sudan at his own expense, and now in partnership with the various agencies that comprise ACROSS, he has a bigger dream.

Thanks to the World Of Difference challenge, Graham has returned to the Sudan to help build a secondary school, the first in the region he is going to. And he’d been educating the teachers too, by putting a curriculum in place for Sudanese who want to become educators. Read on to be inspired by the adversity one man’s passion can overcome.
